Our assessment day for first years 2026 will take place this coming Saturday the 7th of February 2026 from 9:15 - 12:00pm. This assessment involves comprehension, maths, writing and a short exam in Irish. There is no need to worry about the assessment and all he will need is pens, pencils and a rubber. The assessment is to give us as a school some baseline data.

The assessment will take place in the school from 9.30am to 12.00pm. There will be an information session for parents from 9.45am to 10.45am, I will address any concerns that you may have about September and there will also be input from Olive for Education about the 1:1 device. Teas & coffees will be provided.
